Tranquility
Tranquility is a residential interior design for a high-ceiling loft in Chiayi City, Taiwan. Large French windows present the outdoor garden landscape as the main view. The interior is built with simple, clean outlines and Morandi colors, so sunlight reaches every corner of the residence. Fewer partition walls widen the horizontal space, while squares, lines and shades of color separate the different functions. A titanium-plated mirror ceiling extends the view upward. Materials include marble, quartz, mineral coating and laminate flooring.
Tranquility Residential by SAN.O INTERIOR DESIGN has been identified as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Tranquility Residential won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
