Lights and Shadows
Lights and Shadows is a sales center interior located in Henan, China, completed in 2019 and covering 756 square meters. The reception hall is the main activity space, and its design draws on the essence of ancient architecture. Large areas of wood grating and an art sculpture combine generous forms with elegant detail. In the exhibition area, light and shadow are used together to shape the visitor experience. In the discussion area, light bars create order and repetition. The outdoor space guides movement along a winding route.
Lights and Shadows Sales Center by Li Zhang has been featured as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Lights and Shadows Sales Center received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
