Bologna
Bologna is a private house interior design located in Haicheng, Liaoning, China. The residence covers 350 square meters and includes three floors and a garden. The design takes its inspiration from Bologna, the capital of Emilia Romagna in northern Italy and the birthplace of Ducati. A restrained, sculptural and post-modern atmosphere was created for a client who admires motorcycles. Marble, black steel, leather, glass and wood are combined in simple tones. A classic Ducati motorcycle forms the main focal point of the interior.
Bologna Private House by Lei Zhao was selected as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Bologna Private House was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
