Urban Oasis
Urban Oasis is a residential interior design for a three-bedroom apartment in Taichung City, Taiwan. The 290 square metre home was completed in 2019 and is arranged around a private collection of contemporary art. Classical proportions divide the plan, while the vestibule, two living rooms, dining room and island kitchen flow together in an open layout. Warm autumn tones, grey marble and suede furnishings frame the artworks. The design gives the large apartment a calm and comfortable character without closing off the shared spaces.
Urban Oasis Luxury Residential by Idan Chiang of L'atelier Fantasia has been selected as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Urban Oasis Luxury Residential won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
