Dali Dusit
Dali Dongsheng Dusit is a resort hotel interior design located near Erhai Lake in Dali. The project covers 31000 square meters and combines local decorative culture with the hotel architecture. The limited ceiling height of the public areas was addressed by optimizing the top surface shape, adjusting equipment routes and adding decoration to the walls, which draws attention in the horizontal direction. Natural materials such as wood veneer, rough stone, rattan, matte metal, bronze and brass are used. Neutral beige and earth tones are combined with orange, green and blue accents.
Dali Dusit Hotel by Jian Huang was selected as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Dali Dusit Hotel was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
