Interview with Vladimir N. Bratchenko : Frank Scott: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : The main inspiration behind this design is a beauty of the bird Rose Flamingo. So the main idea in this design to integrate FLAMINGO's beauty with elegance of the rose wine. .Frank Scott: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : Our main focus has been made unique bright design. We didn't want to make ordinary wine label design. We wanted to get something really special. .Frank Scott: What are your future plans for this award winning design?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : We going to sell this design. .Frank Scott: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : We spent about three weeks to finish design of this concept. .Frank Scott: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : We definitely were inspired by the image of Rose Flamingo. It was a spontaneous project. .Frank Scott: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : This design was made for sell. So, at this moment we are looking for customer. .Frank Scott: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : We have been worked with amazing illustrator Patrick Seymour. I was really nice collaboration. .Frank Scott: Who is the target customer for his design?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : Target customer is a producer of the wines. .Frank Scott: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : We got two parts of this design that make it unique: illustration with stylish drawing of Flamingo and a bottle. .Frank Scott: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : The name of this design is comes from the Bird Rose Flamingo. .Frank Scott: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : We have been used Illustrator, Cinema 4D, Rhinoceros and Photoshop. .Frank Scott: What is the most unique aspect of your design?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : I think that most unique aspect of our design is an illustration of Patrick. It looks very unusual. .Frank Scott: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : Yes, we got a team work. Patrick Seymour made an illustrations, Egvenii worked with 3D model and I made 3D visualization, rendering and post production. .Frank Scott: What is the role of technology in this particular design?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : We used 3D programs. It was really convenient to finish our concept. Cause final result looks like a photo. .Frank Scott: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : As I sad before in was spontaneous project. But before started this project I made some research about Rose Wine, especially wines named Flamingo. After that we started work on illustrations and bottle designs. .Frank Scott: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : Well, we really looked for balanced rose color and bottle design. It was very important that all parts of design should be in a harmony. .Frank Scott: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : I've got an invitation from A'Design Award Team. .Frank Scott: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?. Vladimir N. Bratchenko : We worked with professional illustrator Patrick Seymour. So I got really nice experience while worked on this project. .
